Banners UP!

The dodecagonal (12 -sided) wood frame building housing the Carousel now has ten new colorful banners! The banners designed by Visual West depict different figures on the carousel peering from a yellow or orange or pink or purple fabric background. The new banners replace earlier ones that had slowly sun faded into retirement. As there are sixteen outside row animals and only ten banner hangers, the figures will be rotated each year. Two of the banners proudly proclaim CAROUSEL in a vertical format. The other eight showcase half of the majestic 116 year-old outside row members of the carousel menagerie.
