Have you patted one of our smaller animals and whispered to it that in spite of its small size, it, too, is a wonderfully carved piece of art? There are 46 majestic animals on the Kit Carson County Carousel but a carousel must have figures of different sizes as the circumference of the inside of the carousel platform is far less than the circumference of the outside...and those large figures just won’t fit!
Two small donkeys join 14 other animals to make up the “inside row” and fourteen “medium” size figures spin around in the middle row...each one unique and totally different from the next. So...put it on your bucket list to ride them all!!! Pick up a free platform diagram at the carousel and then initial each figure when you ride it.
